Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Boundary Patrol in Reno, NV. The role covers patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service at a technology-focused site.

You will follow site procedures, report incidents, and support safety and access controls, working a night schedule with Monday–Friday shifts. Minimum age, education, and background checks apply; drug screen and licensing may be required.

Formación

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location while carrying out security procedures and emergency responses as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and direct guests appropriately.
• Respond to incidents and alarms with calm problem-solving and document observations for leadership.
• Prepare clear reports and logs and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Pay Rate: $22.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with entry requirements and directing guests to appropriate contacts or locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
