Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time routine rounds in Reno, NV. You will protect client sites across technology, media, and telecom sectors, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and assist with directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site-specific protocols.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
