Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, access points, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
