Allied Universal in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver. This full-time role involves patrolling, securing interior and exterior areas, and providing excellent customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications site.

You will monitor access points, document incidents, and respond to alarms, with a valid driver’s license and security experience. Daytime shifts run on a fixed schedule, with base pay of $19.82 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local regulations.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas, parking, entry points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report access control concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and in line with site procedures; contact emergency services as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs documenting patrols and incidents.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access control concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
