Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license as per policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred and beneficial.
• Alarm panel familiarity is preferred.
• Access control and badge handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet confidently.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screening are required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity to leadership.
• Complete incident reports and patrol logs accurately for management.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Checkpoint Coverage in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Officer, you will drive as needed to conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access monitoring and alarm response. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of business areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe personnel and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
