Allied Universal in Chino Hills, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a medical facility. You will provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors while enforcing site policies and responding to incidents.

The role requires a valid Guard Card or license (preferred), a high school diploma, and the ability to work daytime shifts. You will join a collaborative team dedicated to safety and service.

Qualifications

• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and/or contractors while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, calls for assistance and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and monitoring of restricted areas as required.
• Document incidents and patrols accurately and communicate information to relevant personnel.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, calls for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with access control activities, visitor direction, and monitoring of restricted areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
