Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, patient care areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures, including directing individuals to appropriate departments and reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM Wed 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM Thu 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 07:30 AM - 01:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
