As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in a behavioral health setting, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and incidents, assist with de-escalation and restraint support when needed, and provide professional communication to staff and visitors. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral health-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain awareness of the location, and report unusual conditions or policy violations according to established procedures.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
