Job summary

Allied Universal in Riverside, CA is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for healthcare locations. You will provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond calmly to incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum requirements include vaccines, ACLS, CPR/First Aid, background check and drug screen where required; license requirements apply; driving positions need a valid license.

Qualifications

• Must meet COLA, DPSS, and/or DHS tuberculosis test and MMR vaccination requirements.
• ACLS certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and emergency responders.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do:
