Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer: Full Time, unarmed route patrol driver in Wilmer, TX. Responsibilities include vehicle patrols, deterring incidents, monitoring access, and reporting concerns. CPR/First Aid preferred. Pay rate is $18.25 per hour with a typical evening/weekend schedule.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Patrol Driver in Wilmer, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and dependable support while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
