Qualifications

• 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, documenting activities per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, report unauthorized access or unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs while communicating with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
