Job summary

Allied Universal seeks a Security Guard Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Wilmer, TX. You will perform vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering strong customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.

Responsibilities include maintaining a visible security presence, reporting unusual conditions, and supporting visitor management and access-control processes in a technology-focused environment. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as per policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

As a Security Guard Full Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Wilmer, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer supporting a technology-focused location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to evolving site needs. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and required information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including offices, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, facility conditions, and potential policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with visitor management, credential verification, and access-control processes as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
