Professional Full-Time Armed Lobby Ambassador to secure a corporate site in downtown Chicago. This position combines customer service with public safety, offering a consistent weekday schedule in a high-profile setting.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age
• Armed Guard Card/License required
• 1–2 years of security experience preferred
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Duties

• Greet and assist visitors and tenants professionally
• Monitor lobby access and enforce security protocols
• Respond to incidents and emergencies as needed
• Conduct patrols and maintain a visible security presence
• Complete accurate and timely reports

As a Lobby Ambassador, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The primary duty is to provide tenants and guests of AUS’ client with superior customer service, understanding and meeting their needs, and assisting with various tasks. Additionally, you will perform security duties to ensure a positive experience during building entry and exit.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively
• Conduct patrols around the premises and perimeter
• Operate Access Control system to verify guest registration and log identification
• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, ensuring a positive experience

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Subject to background investigation and drug screening
• State/local licensing requirements may apply
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions
