Pay Rate: $18.50

Shift: 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Must be available on weekends.

Locations: Chicago 60652, Plainfield 60586, Naperville 60563, New Lenox 60451, Tinley Park 60487

Potential for FT after 6-8 weeks.

Must Have:

• Previous Experience in Security
• Required Training (preferred)
• Security Guard License (preferred)
• Must submit or pass a background check
• Great communication skills

In this role, you will:

• Stand guard at security officer post, directing visitors, issuing access badges, and providing escorts as necessary.
• Conduct foot patrols in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies as directed in post orders.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards.
• Wear and maintain appropriate PPE and follow all PPE policies.
• Follow all site-specific duties outlined in post-orders.
• Work additional hours when necessary to fill open shifts.
• Maintain high standards of ethical conduct and compliance, acting lawfully, ethically, honestly, and professionally.
• Understand and comply with attendance expectations.
• Interact respectfully with internal and external customers, regardless of protected class status.

What you’ll need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass a Background Check
• State Security Officer License
• Valid driver’s license
• Technical training or college education (preferred)
• Previous security officer experience (preferred)
• Values: Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, Accountability

Certification Requirements: Permanent Employee Registration Card, 20-hour basic training
