Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer - Flex for a part-time position in Downtown Chicago. This role involves flexible shifts, thorough foot patrols, and ensuring the safety and security of the premises. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a proactive security approach, and the ability to handle various responsibilities efficiently. Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older
• Security experience of at least 1 year
• No visible tattoos or piercings

Role Responsibilities

The Security Flex Officer is responsible for maintaining safety and security at assigned facilities. This includes acting as a visible deterrent to crime, detecting and reporting suspicious or unsafe activities, and ensuring the safety of property, clients, guests, and employees.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• State and local licensing requirements, if applicable
• For driving roles: valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to operate a vehicle safely
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening
• Ability to work at multiple locations, handle crisis situations calmly, and work in various environmental conditions
