Job summary

Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Patrol Driver to protect patients, visitors and staff across healthcare sites and other facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, and communicate clearly while upholding our values.

This full-time night-shift position requires a valid driver’s license and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A background drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unusual conditions or access-related concerns to site leadership.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
