Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol a commercial real estate location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support tenants, visitors, and property operations through clear communication and routine patrols. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying authorization and reporting suspicious or unauthorized persons, vehicles, and conditions to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and property management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
