Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following healthcare facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate information to leadership and site personnel.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned hospital areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be willing to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
