Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Hospital Route Driver in Delray Beach, FL. The role focuses on patient and staff safety within a hospital setting, patrolling facilities, monitoring access, and responding to incidents with professional judgment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital facilities, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to the appropriate hospital personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete required activity reports and incident documentation accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.
