Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Hospital Access Control in Sebring, FL to protect patients, visitors and staff while maintaining a welcoming environment. You will monitor entry points, perform regular patrols and respond calmly to emergencies in a healthcare setting.

This full-time role requires at least 1 year of security experience, hospital vaccination compliance, a high school diploma, and the ability to work in a hospital morgue.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior through professional presence and timely reporting.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and disruptive behavior through a professional presence and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
