Allied Universal in Boca Raton, FL is seeking an unarmed Security Officer to provide patient, visitor, and staff safety within a hospital setting. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment.

This full-time role pays $17.91 per hour with weekday evening shifts and a focus on de-escalation and exceptional customer service. Training, growth opportunities, and benefits are offered.

Qualificações

• Be willing to receive vaccinations required for hospital assignments.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observed facility activity, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and shift‑related observations in accordance with seat‑specific procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

• Mon 12:30 PM – 08:30 PM
• Tue 12:30 PM – 08:30 PM
• Wed 12:30 PM – 08:30 PM
• Thur 12:30 PM – 08:30 PM
• Fri 12:30 PM – 08:30 PM
