Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Tucson, AZ to safeguard patients, staff and visitors at a healthcare facility. You will perform regular patrols, monitor access points and respond to incidents with professional calm and adherence to site protocols.

Qualifications

• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions and maintaining awareness of authorized access requirements.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation; communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide welcoming customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Using clear communication and teamwork, you will help maintain a secure environment while representing Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.
