Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have experience working in a hospital morgue.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific policies and security-related protocols at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following established procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with facility staff and responding emergency personnel.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to evolving needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific policies, procedures, and security-related protocols at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established response procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with facility staff, visitors, and responding emergency personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have experience working in a hospital morgue.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
