What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and staff activity, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
