Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a part-time Security Officer to protect patients, visitors, staff, and vendors at a healthcare location. You will follow site protocols, perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with calm, professional conduct.

The role requires a high school diploma, background check, and the ability to meet vaccination requirements. CPR is preferred, and prior customer service experience is beneficial.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and traffic flow while maintaining a professional and compassionate presence.
• Prepare accurate reports and promptly communicate observations, incidents, and/or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
