Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies calmly and follow established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, report unusual conditions.
• Complete incident reports and logs, communicating clearly with site leadership and supervision.

Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while communicating clearly with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
