Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Mineral Wells, TX. This part-time role involves monitoring healthcare facilities, patrolling premises, and providing professional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.

• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
