Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Hospital Response Driver in Corpus Christi, TX. In this role you will protect patients, visitors and staff, patrol assigned areas, and respond to incidents with a calm, professional approach.

As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $16.45 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and appropriate responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required vaccinations for hospital assignments.
• Be willing to work in and around hospital morgue areas.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
