Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Rockport, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and report concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
