Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare government location.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting access-related issues.


• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.
