Pay Rate: $24.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor direction, and help support authorized entry procedures in accordance with site protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or security-related concerns in required reports, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
