Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Ventura, CA to protect government healthcare locations. You will monitor sites, deter incidents through a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service while following procedures.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms and emergencies, patrolling, verifying access, and documenting incidents. Requires 2+ years security experience, valid driver’s license, and HS diploma; driver’s license required for driving

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds.

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and direct individuals to appropriate departments.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and activity logs.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.53 / Hour

• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and direct individuals to appropriate departments or locations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and activity logs, documenting observations, unusual conditions, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Posess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
