Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Diamond Bar, CA. This role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while maintaining flexibility.

You will provide customer service to residents and guests, perform patrols, monitor access points, and document activities.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer HOA Gate in Diamond Bar, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community streets, common areas, amenities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian activity; report suspicious activity, property concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communication records, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
