Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Culver City, CA. This role provides flexible, reliable hours with fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with part-time hours and potential to scale up to full-time. The position emphasizes customer service, access control, patrols, and incident response across site operations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization, and maintain accurate access and visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify access-control concerns and deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property management, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, incidents, and daily activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in CULVER CITY, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
