Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Concord, CA. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts to earn more.

You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and prepare reports while delivering professional service to tenants and staff. A valid driver's license and high school diploma are required, with background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Concord, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entry points, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and site information, and help maintain orderly movement throughout the property.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions with tenants, visitors, and vendors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
