Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Hazard Observer in Concord, MA. This full-time role involves patrolling government locations, monitoring access, and delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors while maintaining a visible security presence.

You will respond calmly to incidents, complete daily reports, and follow site procedures. The job requires compliance with background checks, drug screens, and licensing where applicable, plus a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, offices, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:
