Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be needed.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Patrol Communications in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms or unusual activity. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Tue 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
