Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Hazard Observer in Concord, MA to monitor and safeguard government locations. You will perform unarmed patrols, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors while upholding site policies and reporting protocols.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, offices, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
