Job summary

Caesars Entertainment’s Horseshoe Las Vegas is seeking a Security Officer to protect assets and ensure a safe environment for guests and employees. You will patrol, escort customers, assist law enforcement, perform cash-handling tasks, and provide first aid including CPR, while maintaining detailed incident reports.

The role requires 21+ years, a high school diploma, guest-contact experience, and the ability to work any shift; ASP baton training is required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in a role with direct guest contact.
• Prior experience in police, military, or casino security preferred.
• Ability to multitask and maintain effective communication.
• Able to obtain Nevada Gaming Card, AES certificate, and First Aid/ CPR.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of guests and fellow employees.
• Give directions and escort customers when needed.
• Assist civil and law enforcement authorities, including court testimony.
• Perform chip fills and jackpot verifications.
• Escort money and people in money-handling roles; provide first aid including CPR.
• Patrol property to identify hazards; interview, investigate, and document incidents.
• Prepare detailed descriptions for lost and found.
• Enforce company policies.
• Meet attendance guidelines and follow policies.
