Job summary

Allied Universal in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Security Officer to join our full-time team. You will patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, monitor access points, and deliver excellent customer service while documenting observations following site procedures.

The role requires minimum one year of security experience or related law enforcement or military background, and a high school diploma. Shift options include Mon-Thu-Sun evenings; pay is $19.00 per hour.

As a Security Officer Full Time in Kenosha, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while documenting observations and responding to site needs. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Minimum 1 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

Job Schedule:

• Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, distribution areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
