Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Florence, KY. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor access, and deliver professional customer service at a logistics location.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms and incidents, documenting activity, and maintaining a visible presence to support a safe, well-managed environment. CPR preferred and 18+ years old.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Florence, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon – 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur – 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri – 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat – 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun – 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting entry and exit activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Observe and report irregular conditions, damaged property, or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Hold CPR certification preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
