Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Kenosha, WI to provide reliable, flexible hours at an assigned site.

The pay rate is $19.00 per hour. You will have a fixed anchor shift with six‑month commitment and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, access concerns, and hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry and exit for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Support the orderly movement of vehicles and deliveries by observing traffic flow and reporting irregularities or policy violations.

Job Schedule

• Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
