Job summary

Allied Universal® in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a full-time Unarmed Security Officer for a warehouse location. You will monitor access points, perform patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Background check in compliance with federal, state and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors at a logistics and distribution location by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouses, loading docks, and perimeters to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor/driver/contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and complete required reports.
• Observe and report conditions such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, or suspicious activity to site leadership.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, driver, and contractor entry and exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe and report conditions such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, blocked access routes, or suspicious activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
