Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Full Time in Kenosha, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and document observations using computer or tablet tools. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and warehouse location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, and maintain required activity logs.
• Report security-related observations, policy violations, hazards, and unusual activity to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
