Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Kenosha, WI. You will provide customer service, monitor premises, and support access control while maintaining a visible presence.

This role offers flexible scheduling, including Friday and Saturday night shifts, with $19.00 per hour. Minimum 1+ year of security experience or military/law enforcement preferred, plus background checks, drug screening, and a high school

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing incoming and outgoing personnel, visitors, and vehicles and verifying authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
