Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Services in Dublin, CA. You will greet members and visitors at the front desk of a financial institution, support access control, manage visitors, and uphold security procedures.

You will respond to alarms, monitor entry activity, and maintain logs, contributing to a safe, welcoming environment for employees and guests.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a financial institution by greeting members, visitors, and vendors and directing them appropriately.
• Carry out site-specific security procedures, access-control practices, and visitor-management protocols per client policies.
• Monitor entry activity, verify visitor authorization, and maintain logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Observe lobby areas to deter unauthorized activity and report concerns.

Pay Rate: $26.78 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a financial institution by greeting members, visitors, and/or vendors and directing them appropriately.
• Carry out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control practices, and visitor-management protocols in accordance with client policies.
• Monitor entry activity, verify visitor authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Observe the lobby and surrounding entrance areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report suspicious behavior or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
