As a Security Officer - Financial Corporate Building in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while reporting observations and responding to site needs. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document access-related events in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied University will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
