Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Intake in Tempe, AZ. You will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security systems, and respond to alarms while delivering exceptional customer service in a professional, secure environment.

The role requires at least 6 months of security experience, a high school diploma, and a valid guard card if applicable; CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Ages 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and security-related responsibilities.
• Serve as the front-desk point of contact by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, entry activity, and security-related systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain a professional presence at the front desk while providing directions, answering routine inquiries, and supporting a welcoming environment for authorized individuals.

Security Officer Full Time Visitor Intake in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related systems, and respond to alarms or incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
