Job summary

Allied Universal, in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a Security Shift Lead - GSOC Monitor to safeguard clients across industries. You will monitor access points, conduct patrols, and report observations with professionalism while delivering excellent customer service.

The position is full-time with a pay rate of $25.50 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule (10:00 AM–6:30 PM). You will lead site security operations and coordinate with management to deter incidents and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience required.
• Supervisory experience required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee authorization in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as appropriate.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
