All Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer (Unarmed X Ray Screening Patrol) in Madison, AL. The role focuses on monitoring, patrolling, and protecting facilities at a technology location while providing professional customer service.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused business location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, common areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting access-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional environment by maintaining awareness of facility conditions, reporting hazards, and completing required activity reports.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed X Ray Screening Patrol in Madison, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control functions. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, common areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting access-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel as directed by site policies.
• Support a professional environment by maintaining awareness of facility conditions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and completing required activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
